NorthPark Center is five miles north of downtown Dallas, 30 miles east of Fort Worth and at the center of it all with convenient access to surrounding suburbs. Located on North Central Expressway (U.S. 75) and Northwest Highway (Loop 12), NorthPark Center is within minutes of the city's major thoroughfares including Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway (I-635), Tom Landry Highway (I-30), Stemmons Freeway (I-35E) and the Dallas North Tollway. Dallas Love Field Airport and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport are both located within 20 minutes. A Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) train stop is one block away and provides complimentary dedicated shuttle bus service to NorthPark Center.

Sports play an integral role in the city’s identity, with five professional sports teams calling the Dallas area home. The Dallas Cowboys, arguably one of the most recognizable and successful sports franchises of all time, have continued to make headlines with the opening of the new $1.1 billion stadium, which was the location for Super Bowl XLV. Six Flags Over Texas, which features more than 100 thrilling rides as well as a variety of family friendly shows, is another Dallas favorite along with the Byron Nelson Championship at Four Seasons Resort Las Colinas, Southfork Ranch, famously featured in the television show “Dallas,” and many others.

Visitors to the Dallas metropolitan area have access to major international and national airports, Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and Dallas Love Field, as well as regional and private jet facilities such as Addison Airport. Dallas also claims the world's largest urban elevated heliport in the Central Business District. Located on the southern end of the Dallas Convention Center, the heliport can accommodate multiple helicopters at one time. Once you’ve arrived, NorthPark Center is accessible to and from downtown Dallas, the Dallas Convention Center, North Dallas, Richardson and Plano by the Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) Light Rail System. DART provides 72 miles of light rail and 120 routes by bus transit throughout the city. A complimentary NorthPark Center/DART Shuttle operates to and from the nearby Park Lane DART station and the east entrance to NorthPark Center near Macy’s every 20 minutes. This service operates Monday through Friday, from 7:41AM – 11:02PM, Saturday from 8:26AM – 10:15PM, and Sunday from 10:36AM – 7:15PM. After 6:28PM, the shuttle drop-off and pick-up location moves to the southbound access road of N. Central Expressway (US-75), near Macy’s parking garage. Visitors can also travel to Fort Worth via the Trinity Railway Express. Service to the DFW Airport will be available by 2014. NorthPark Center is easily accessible via major roadways from its location on Northwest Highway (Loop 12) at Central Expressway (U.S. 75), a freeway that begins in downtown Dallas and runs to the north through the city’s most affluent neighborhoods. It’s within minutes of the area’s other major roadways including the Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway (I-635), Tom Landry Highway (I-30), Stemmons Freeway (I-35E) and the Dallas North Tollway.

In addition to convenient surface and garage parking, NorthPark Center's valet system allows you to leave your car at one convenient valet location and retrieve it at another. So you can begin your NorthPark experience at Neiman Marcus and shop your way to Kona Grill or drop off your car at Nordstrom and pick it up at P.F. Chang's China Bistro. Valets are located at major entrances on the north, west and south sides of the center. You can also get your car washed while you shop. Many of the NorthPark Center restaurants will validate valet tickets with the purchase of a meal. Don't forget to ask your waitperson to validate yours when you pay your bill.

International shoppers can receive refunds on Texas sales tax at TaxFree Shopping, Ltd., conveniently located within NorthPark Center's management office between Dillard's and Uptown Popcorn on Level One. Shoppers must present original receipts and items purchased with sales tags attached from participating retail stores in Texas within 30 days of departing the United States. International visitors' passports, I-94s, visas (if issued) and flight information (if flying) are required for processing. Foreign language assistance is available.
