CenterPark Garden was transformed into a glamorous vision of pink, white, and red for the 35th Annual Saint Valentine’s Day Fashion Show and Luncheon on Thursday, February 7, 2019. This dazzling event raises critical funds towards the mission of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society — to help improve the quality of life for patients and their families and ultimately find cures for blood cancers.
More than 500 patrons gathered under the twinkling lights of Leo Villarreal’s Buckyball (2015) to hear from emcee Clarice Tinsley, Event Chair Christy Berry, and NorthPark Ambassadors Kimberly Schlegel Whitman and Kimberly Alexander. Babe Laufenberg, sports personality and former Dallas Cowboy, accepted the Spirit of Tom Landry Character Award on behalf his son Luke, and Joyce and Larry Lacerte were honored with the Lynda Adleta Heart of Gold Award.

For the grand finale, fashions from NorthPark Center’s boutiques graced the runway in a spectacular show produced by Jan Strimple. Looks from Versace, Fabiana Filippi, Canali, Roberto Cavalli, and Neiman Marcus gave a glimpse into the fabulous trends of spring 2019. A special respite from Kids Atelier featured chic looks modeled by the children of several attendees, which proved to be the cherry on top of an incredible afternoon supporting a very worthy cause.
