One of the most beloved artists featured at NorthPark Center was a major inspiration behind the new Burberry collection that debuted this week at London Fashion Week. Burberry CEO and Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey was raised around the work of sculptor Henry Moore.
Artist Henry Moore is regarded as one of the most important British sculptors of the 20th century. His work at NorthPark, Reclining Figure: Angles, is an abstract bronze sculpture located on Level One between Nordstrom and Macy’s. Moore’s work has been a large part of Bailey’s life so naturally that influence showed up in Burberry’s second see-now-buy-now ready-to-wear collection. With asymmetrical silhouettes, cable knits and reimagined trenchcoats, Burberry is headed in an exciting and modern direction. If this inspired collection doesn’t embody the art of fashion, I don’t know what does.
The models wore a natural beauty look with emphasis on the new Lip Colour Contour ($31, available in two shades) from Burberry.
A nude pen to prime, contour and shape, for naturally fuller-looking lips.
