Being a Dad/Father has been the most challenging and rewarding role I've ever had. Two of the top three best moments in my life are watching the birth of my two children. My focus and goal through these almost 18 years of fatherhood is to model traits that my children (daughter & son) look for in a future spouse or build within themselves. Science projects, proms, campouts, breakups, you name it, I feel like I've experienced it all. Sometimes I fail, sometimes I crush it! In the end, all I really want to hear is "Thanks Dad".
Below are just a few of my favorite things for Father’s Day. A bit rugged (duffle), sometimes I clean up nicely (watch & cologne), and sometimes I just want to sit and be still (lounge & coffee maker).
The North Face, Base Camp Duffle, Large ($145)
I go camping with my son and his Boy Scout Troop a few times a year. This can hold all of my gear for the weekend.
Nordstrom, Skagen Holst Leather Strap Watch, 40mm ($155)
This is so clean and simple. True minimalist. And yes, I still wear a wristwatch.
Neiman Marcus, CREED Aventus, 120ml ($395)
Because you should always smell good when you have a Date Night. This will definitely do the trick.
Design Within Reach, Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman ($4,935 – 6,435)
This is the ultimate "pappa bear” chair, every dad should have this in their home.
Nespresso, Inissia OriginalLine Machine ($149)
Sunday morning ritual: coffee and Netflix documentaries.
