If you are well versed in Internet slang, you know the word “meme” is a common term referring to images or animated GIFs often accompanied by relatable text. These unique forms of communication tend to go viral making several famous social media accounts a must-follow.

The outlandish luxury brand Gucci decided to take on the world of memes to launch their latest Le Marché des Merveilles watch collection. Adapted from a popular meme, That Feeling When Gucci (#TFWGucci) is about the moment of putting on one of the timepieces. The Internet is a large resource that retailers are constantly trying to tap into in creative ways. If this proves anything, it shows Gucci isn’t afraid of the ever-changing landscape or even poking a little fun at themselves. Which meme would you feel inclined to share?
