Santa

It seems as if Christmas has arrived early this year in Dallas. At least it did for one lucky Dallasite, who won $202.6 million last week after purchasing a winning lottery ticket! Can you imagine the delight, the unbelievable joy she felt after receiving such an unexpected surprise?

The truth is, most of us will probably never win a $200 million lottery prize. But we can still experience delight and joy! And more importantly, we can still spread goodwill to those around us.

In fact, giving to others is the very best part of my job. Sure, sleigh-riding and cookie-eating are nice perks, but adrenaline and sugar are no match for the rush I get when I see a child’s face light up after receiving an unexpected gift.

Sounds pretty cool, right? Well, lucky for you, I need some seasonal help! That’s right – I’m offering you the chance to play Santa this year. Just stop by the Salvation Army Angel Tree at NorthPark Center between now and Dec. 8. The tree is on level one, next to Macy’s and my very own cozy living room!

After you choose an angel, be sure to bring their gift back to NorthPark by Dec. 9 so I have time to wrap it up nicely and get it underneath the proper tree by Christmas morning. And the smile on your angel’s face after he or she opens the new outfit or video game they had hoped for? Why, I’m sure it’ll look like they just won the lottery.

Oh! I almost forgot! When you choose an angel off of our Salvation Army tree, you’ll be entered into a raffle. In December, my elves will randomly select five winners to receive a complimentary photo shoot with Marc Robins Photography! Well, look at that. You might end up winning the lottery after all!

Just be sure to check my Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for the winning numbers. It’s that simple!

Well, Dallas, that’s all I have for you right now, but I’ll be at NorthPark Center until Christmas Eve, so feel free to come by, snap a few photos and tell me about your Christmas list.

Until then,

Santa Claus
