Going Greek at the Mad Hatter's Luncheon
image

More than 500 Grecian Gods and Goddesses floated into the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden for the Mad Hatter's Luncheon on April 18, 2024. Themed "Gardens of Greece" this year, the luncheon was hosted by the Women's Council of the Dallas Arboretum and benefitted the Woman's Garden.

NorthPark Ambassador Allison Brodnax was at the helm of this lovely and successful affair.

"When I think of Greece, I think of gorgeous flowers, delicious food, friendly people, and a lively spirit," said Allison—all of which were present the day of the luncheon.

Esteemed Hat Judges Esé Azénabor-Grembowski, Sabina Carr, Patti Flowers, Nathan Johnson, and our own Kristen Gibbins kindled an air of competition with six awards up for grabs—Greek Mythology, Greek Life (Sorority), Best Botanical Using Fresh Flowers, Olympic Games, Greek Goddesses, and, of course, My Big Fat Greek Wedding.

After judging was complete, guests filed in to Rosine Hall for a fashion show presented by NorthPark Center and produced by Jan Strimple. Spring looks from ETRO, Nordstrom, Scanlan Theodore, St. John, and Ted Baker London were paired with beauty looks from BYREDO. Eataly and Jo Malone London added special gifts to the favor bags.
