The spirit of the South was on full display at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden on April 17, 2025, for the beloved Mad Hatter's Luncheon. Benefiting A Woman's Garden, this event always gets creative juices flowing, with attendees crafting their own handmade hats for a very stiff competition.
Hat Judges Esé Azénabor-Grembowski, Sharon Lee Clark, John Clutts, Amanda Shufeldt, Anne Stodghill, and Kameron Westcott had the impossible task of choosing winners among the southern-themed categories: Dallas Blooms (best use of fresh botanicals), Mardi Gras (most over-the-top), Kentucky Derby (most elegant), Jazz Fest (best group), Round Top (people's choice), and The Masters (best in show).
Chair Sara Friedman and Women's Council president Therese Rourk welcomed the crowd and introduced the master of ceremonies (and 2024 NorthPark Ambassador!) Laura Harris, who perfectly teed up the NorthPark Center fashion show. Produced by Jan Strimple, the show featured fabulous spring looks from ETRO, Maje, ME+EM, Nordstrom, SANDRO, Scanlan Theodore, and St. John, with makeup looks by Glossier. During lunch, models floated between the tables to showcase stunning pieces from Eiseman Jewels.
