If you stopped by the shopping center this weekend, you may have noticed a new addition to EastCourt, on Level One near Dillard’s. Environmentally-focused home improvement retailer TreeHouse built a one-of-a-kind Sustainable Home of the Future, on view now exclusively at NorthPark.
The installation is constructed with leading eco-friendly and sustainable materials and products, including a Rainwater harvesting tank, a Tesla power wall, Sunpower solar panels, a Zera food recycler, and much more. On your next visit, venture inside to learn more about the featured products from TreeHouse’s trained and highly knowledgeable staff. TreeHouse also filled EastCourt with a variety of beautiful, locally-sourced plant species that are drought-tolerant and naturally adapted to local climates.
TreeHouse began in Austin, Texas, with the goal of making homes beautiful, sustainable, and healthy. The company’s second location is now under construction at Walnut Hill and Central Expressway, just north of NorthPark. The store will bring progressive products, great design, human-centered services and leading edge technology together under one roof, opening in June 2017.
The Sustainable Home of the Future will be on display in EastCourt until May 31, 2017.
