What to Wear to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Concert in the Park

It’s that special time of year in Dallas where the weather causes us to yearn for a patio. It only lasts a short time, but I plan to make most of it by spending free time outdoors. Celebrate this beautiful time of year at NorthPark Center’s CenterPark Garden this Saturday, October 15 with a magnificent performance by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra. View details about the event here and see below for tips on what to wear and bring with you!

Sundance Canyon Throw ($325)
Sundance Mt. Timpanogos Throw ($325)
Sundance Creekside Throw ($325)
Brookstone Autumn Slim Power Portable Phone Charger ($25)

Since this concert is open seating, don’t forget to bring your own blanket or lawn chair. Keep your phone charged with a portable charger from Brookstone because you will want photos of this stunning event!

NorthPark’s restaurants will provide grab-and-go style snacks for you to enjoy while you sit back, relax and listen to Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 4 led by Music Director Jaap van Zweden. Bread Winners will offer boxed meals at their coffee bar, the Green House Market “a la carte” truck will sell beverages and assorted snacks and La Duni has dessert covered. If the kids need a little something sweet, Fuzziwig’s will have a variety of candies for sale outside.

Dress comfortable but you don’t have to sacrifice style! Ladies might want to skip the dress and wear either a jumpsuit or jeans. When the sun goes down, layers will be key. A light jacket or sweater will keep you cozy in the garden. Cover your toes in some casual boots and you will look effortlessly cool for a night of music.
