Rhone, the premium men’s lifestyle and activewear label founded by two brothers, has come to NorthPark Center.
Textiles that feel comfortable and perform well are the foundation of Rhone, which sticks primarily to neutral hues and clean silhouettes that CEO and co-founder Nate Checketts dubs “New York smart.”
“We grew up in and around New York, so Rhone has a strong Northeastern aesthetic with a lot of natural colors and moody colors that we think will resonate with customers,” Checketts says. “There’s a little bit of a preppy vibe, but no pink pants.”
Rhone has men covered for workouts, weekends, and casual offices.
The brand has the exclusive right to apparel fabrics that deflect odor via gold and silver nano fibers.
A signature bestseller is the Commuter Shirt, a moisture-wicking button-up with four-way stretch that’s machine washable.
The $138 item comes in 13 colors and two fits: slim and classic.
The matching Commuter Pant is another hot number, a pleat-free straight leg in a proprietary Flex-Knit fabric that feels roomy while looking sleek.
Other popular styles include the Delta Pique Polo, Commuter Shorts in seven- and nine-inch inseams, and the Session 1/4 Zip lightweight long-sleeve knit shirt with sun protection.
Checketts deems Rhone “a wellness brand,” and not only because of its textiles. The company encourages customers to “experience more,” and its blog has tabs for Wellness, Mindfulness, and Community.

“Life is full of ups and downs, and every active brand is giving a message of ‘run fast’ or ‘jump higher,’” Checketts says. “When I was maybe 14 or 15 I realized I wasn’t going to be a professional athlete. My main focus was on being the best person, husband, and father I could be. Our message is, it’s just about moving forward in life, a holistic view that includes mental fitness as well as physical fitness.”
