Introducing MAC Cosmetics’ new Eyes on Mac Eyeshadow Palettes! We stopped by and filmed a fun, how-to create a burgundy smoky eye with one of the palettes. See below for the step-by-step details and enjoy the video.

STEP 1: Apply Prep+Prime 24 hour extend eye base

STEP 2: From New Eye Shadow x 9 / Semi-Sweet x9 palette apply burgundy color “Everyone’s Dancing” using the 242 Shader Brush
PRO TIP: Press on the shadow to get the most coverage

STEP 3:  Use 217 Blending Brush to seamlessly smooth out edges

STEP 4: Apply MAC Studio Chromagraphic pencil in “Magenta” along lash line
PRO-TIP: Use 242 Shader Brush to smooth out eyeliner and mesh together with eye shadow 

STEP 5: Apply “Pink Sienna” with 242 Shader Brush to the lower lash line 

STEP 6: Apply new Extreme Dimension Mascara in “Feel My Pulse” to top and bottom lashes, working into the lashes, pressing upward and wiggling through the lashes

STEP 7: Shape and fill in eyebrows with Great Brow Kit then use lightest color in the kit to highlight inner eye
