Pretty as a Princess

When I was a little girl, I dreamed about being a princess.  The ruffled gowns, jeweled crowns, and diamond necklaces all fascinated me. Whenever I had the opportunity to dress the part, you can bet that I went all out with my princess style.  While fashions have changed, dressing up like a princess is still in style.  Here are a few products from NorthPark Center that fit the bill.

Every princess needs a tiara. While wearing a sparkly tiara around may not be the right accessory for everyday life, she can get the look with a bedazzled headband.  This rhinestone headband comes in a sophisticated smoke-pearl color and features pretty grey stones along the top.  It retails for $10 from Gap Kids NorthPark Center.

This pretty pink dress is about as girly as it gets, and the full skirt has lots of twirl thanks to a tulle underlining.  A bow at the shoulder and extra ruffles at the waist makes it the perfect princess dress. And just in case this little princess decides to make mud pies, it is machine washable. It retails for $56.95 from Gymboree NorthPark Center.

Sometimes a little bling is all you need to dress up an outfit and achieve that regal look. I love this glitter belt from hanna Andersson that has a pretty silver clasp shaped like a flower.  Gold is a glamorous color, and it also comes in pink, purple and silver.  It retails for $18 from hanna Andersson from NorthPark Center.

For those girls who really want to play the part, the best place to shop is at the Disney Store at NorthPark Center where they stock a variety of pretty costumes.  This outfit is from the new Disney movie, Frozen, and features colorful layers of satin and organza over a black velvet bodice with flowers.  It retails for just under $50 from Disney Store at NorthPark Center.
