The mission of La La Land Kind Cafe is to normalize kindness. The name La La Land represents a dream world: a place where you feel a true sense of joy for life and where you are loved for who you are. A place that brings together all human beings and a place where kindness is priority.
In every city there is a La La Land, there is a flagship store that runs an 8-week internship program for foster youth. During the 8 weeks, they learn life skills, on-the-job training, customer service training, mentorship, and more. At the end of the 8 weeks, they can decide what they are passionate about and what career fields they want to go in. Then, they are forever a part of La La Land's We Are One program to get help with job placement, housing, schooling, and therapy.
