I ventured into the Origins store at NorthPark Center last week on the hunt for a new nighttime moisturizer. I’m the type that loves to research a product and read all the reviews before going in to purchase it. The High-Potency Night-A-Mins moisturizer had passed all of my preliminary inquiries and I was ready to try it out. After a quick in-person consultation at the store, I decided to go with the original version rather than the oil-free. I have combination skin that is also constantly thirsty. This formula claims banishes dullness with time-released resurfacing vitamins and minerals (hence the cheeky name.)

Being the skincare nerd that I am, I was pretty excited to take it home with me and try it out that night. The smell was heavenly, and glided smoothly onto my face. My skin drank in the moisture and I awoke the next morning with a bit more color and vibrance.

The next product on my list was the Super Spot Remover, $15. Now – be warned, it is the tiniest bottle you’ve ever seen, but it is a game-changer. I have blemishes pretty frequently even though I am well past my teenage years, so I figured it was worth a shot. After washing my face, I applied the spot treatment with a Q-tip (applying it with your fingers will expose it to unnecessary oils that live on your hands). I woke up the next morning to dramatically smaller blemishes. I was shocked! They were smaller, less red and no longer inflamed. One particularly bad spot had all but disappeared overnight. If these fantastic results continue, you can call me a devotee for life!
