DREAM. WONDER. IMAGINE. features artwork by the many talented scholars, grades K through 12, from Uplift Education, a network of 45 free, college preparatory public charter schools throughout the DFW Metroplex. Scholars were challenged to illustrate their dreams and to imagine all that is possible.
The future belongs to today's children. Their ability to dream, wonder, and imagine is what challenges the status quo and allows us to continue to grow. Creating artwork is a powerful tool; it promotes creative thinking, critical thinking, engineering, and inventing—all crucial skills to a brighter future. We hope you can see the special worlds each scholar envisions through their artwork on view.
The annual Uplift Scholar Art Exhibition is a part of a larger partnership between NorthPark Center and Uplift Education. Throughout the year, NorthPark sponsors field trips for over 3,000 Uplift scholars and teachers to tour the art at NorthPark.
At Uplift Education, schools participate in a rigorous, globally focused curriculum that educates the whole child through inquiry-based learning and gives children the skills they need to thrive, not just academically, but socially, emotionally, and physically as well. This is key to helping them achieve their dreams and highest potential. They know the future is in their hands and are dreaming big.
